I shot this image outskirts of Reykjavik, Iceland in February 2014. This red color aurora was due to a strong flare from the Sun 48 hours before. Aurora is a beautiful display of colors due to the collision of solar wind and Earth's atmosphere. It is an unpredictable display. The camera used was Canon 550D with a 50 mm lens on tripod.
