On a trip West last summer I spent the night in the truck at a place called Thunder Mountain in Imlay, Nevada. The place is a blip on the side of I-80 but it is an instillation that acts as an altar to the eclectic dreams of a man who, as the story goes, broke down on the side of the road there and decided to start building until the day he put a bullet in his head in the 80's...The day I took the picture here was a beautiful blue bird day, walking around the place now is especially peaceful...
