Hawaii big island beach
Back in 2006, my wife and I traveled to Hawaii. After spending a few days in Oahu, we spent a week exploring the big island. The road into the valley is described as 1 mile down and 10 miles up. The rent-a-car companies will not allow you to drive that road(or the one to the observatory on Moana Loa).
