With the Atlantic Ocean behind me, I am standing on a dune to take this photo facing West. My camera was on the "sunset" setting which totally shows what the moment actually looked like. The pond in this photo is temporary in the sense that it fills up only during rainy season in St. Vincent from runoff rainfall and provides a great resting place for varying species of migratory water fowl. A great place to hang out on an evening with the sound of the ocean roaring in in the background.
