I used this shot for the cover of my Mt. Charleston book. I shot this photograph before my afternoon hike of Cathedral Rock. It was a fall afternoon in Las Vegas which can still be very hot in excess of 100 degrees and I needed to get some relief in the cooler temperatures of the mountain.
