Exploring the residential streets of Marrakech between the Medina and the Palmerie I was taking photos of local businesses and shops, away from the tourists. I came across this square where this lady was feeding the pigeons. Usually I find muslim people shy of the camera, but this lady was keen to tell me her story. Her name was Fatima she said, and 3 days a week she cycled to this spot to meet her friends the pigeons. They surrounded her as she talked to them. Camera Rollei 35S; Ilford XP2 400
