As I was hiking at Rocky Mountain National Park, I spotted a grouping of Fly Agaric (amanita muscaria) mushrooms. A majority of them looked worn out. Then I saw this one a few yards off the trail. It was the perfect mushroom- like something out of a children's story. I was just waiting to see little fairies fly out from behind it. After getting home and doing some research on it, I found out that this poisonous mushroom is also the ones depicted in Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland."
