    Danny, one of the old timers on our crew, has been fighting fire for over twenty five years. Every season he carries along one disposable camera. We recently took a chopper ride to spike camp. As the rest of us clicked away selfies and videos on our cell phone, Danny sat calmly and watched the country pass below. He took one photo. At the end of the season the camera will go in a sock drawer with a pile of others left undeveloped.
