What could be the whispering tale of these lamp-posts but the story of destitution of the lady who is sleeping on this pavement early in the morning - a scene which I witnessed near Panagal Poonka (Panagal Park), Chennai during my recent visit to that place. Just think of the irony - the glass door divides a luxurious life and a life on the street. The call is very much inviting but realities are blatant and go beyond ordinary dreams.
