Trees and roots mark the path down Mount Pisgah in the northeast kingdom of Vermont. It’s been years since I climbed a mountain but I did it yesterday. I reserved my camera (and my breath) for a slower trip down than I made up. I had forgotten how much time is spent looking down when hiking (for foot survival). Incredible beauty, under our feet.
