I took this photo of what was a tiny insect on a sandy beach in Prampram, Ghana. I was looking at the sand, while standing and looking to take shots of the coastline, when I noticed a tiny movement close to my feet. To my amusement, there was this tiny insect, with its head perfectly camouflaged against the sand. Luckily for me, the shot turned out just right, including the depth of field on what was a compact camera I still love to this day.
