Every year I try to find a new place to photograph and I spotted this one last spring when the road was still impassable due to snow drifts. I just knew that it would be spectacular. It was a perfect fall day with aspens quaking, a wonderful scent in the air and big billowy clouds in an azure sky. My little truck wound down a country road and through thickets of yellow aspen and then came to an open meadow, well, we just stood in silence and in awe of natures beauty.
