Our first day at Mesquite dunes in Death Valley was a disappointment as it was the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, possibly the busiest weekend in Death Valley, and there was not a patch of sand that was not stepped on by the visitors to photograph. So we came back at the end of our trip and a storm the previous night had swept the dunes clean for this picture.
