Edit Photo Details The End of Summer   #yellowjackets #hummingbirdfeeder
Most likely, their queen has died and the larvae have lost their ability to produce the sugar these workers require. The hummingbirds have been gone for about a week now, but I left my feeders up for any stragglers who might be passing through on their migration and so these little ladies will have a place to dine until the frost comes.
