    Flower mites use hummingbirds for transportation from flower to flower.  They do not harm the birds.  A look at a female Magnificent covered in mites during banding with the Hummingbird Monitoring Network at Florida Canyon (just east of Madera Canyon) in the Santa Rita Mountains.
