I had spent the whole day on safari with my guide in the trans kgalagadi national park. As we were putting up the tent I noticed a ground squirrel eating some fruit ... As I grabbed my camera and knelt down to take a photograph a juvenile squirrel popped into the frame .. I'm not sure who was the most surprised, the squirrel, the juvenile or myself. And who would have thought that one of my favourite photographs from that trip would have been taken in the campsite and not out in the Kalahari
