When one thinks of Ohio, 'wildlife' doesn't exactly come to mind. As I watched this fuzzy head make a slow, graceful descent toward me, I couldn't help but marvel at the irony of finding this majestic creature here. The thought quickly morphed into reality, and it saddened me. How did you get here? This is not where you belong. As a wildlife biologist and aspiring photographer, I am a realist. I believe what I see. What I saw today was a giraffe dreaming of home.
