Moonbow
This may not be the best photo I've ever taken, but it was the most unexpected discovery I've had when taking pictures. It was my first serious attempt at night photography and I didn't have a tripod. I wanted to capture the lightening over the mountain. I set the camera on the ground and started to experiment. This was the second shot and I saw this image-a moonbow! I had never considered that rainbows can occur at night (I couldn't see it with my naked eye). It was a wonderful unexpected find!
