Going into Canyon de Chelly NM I was expecting to find ancient Navajo ruins but I did not expect to see lush green farms in the bottom of dessert canyon. Looking over the rim of the canyon, I could see ancient ruins tucked into the canyon walls. On the canyon floor lush green trees flourish in the cares of the Navajo families who live and work there for centuries.
