This is from the 2014 hot air balloon mass launch one morning. I was standing mid field while waves of hot air balloons launch from the Albuquerque balloon fiesta. This particular morning the skies were clear of clouds and beautiful blue skies. Here balloons are being cold inflated on the ground waiting for the Zebras to give them permission to fly. Over 600 balloons fly from this 72 acre land in Albuquerque. Zebras are launch directors who let each pilot know when it is safe to launch.
