Edit Photo Details Sunlight and the rainbow trout   #river #native_fish
A deeply shadowed run of river makes for difficult photographic conditions. Shooting underwater you lose a stop at the surface and another one for about every 10 feet of depth in clear water, so even shady, shallow water presents problems - especially when the camera is loaded with film speed that cannot be adjusted mid-roll. Given a choice, rainbow trout will avoid the sunlight. Panning s slow shutter captured some of the fish in focus and rendered the rest of image into a soft blur.
