    I had shingles and needed to get my mind off of the pain. Decided to take a trip to the Sierra Nevadas and try my hand at astrophotography. I was very pleased how this came out. I love my Nikon D700, such a great camera. This was made along with the help of a Sky View application on my iphone. It helped calculate where the milky way would be at a specific time of the night.
