Edit Photo Details Hungry hungry ladybug   #eating #ladybug #insect #moth
Ladybugs are considered to be beneficial in that they eat other, smaller insects that damage many plants. They love eggs of other insects and particularly enjoy soft-bodied insects like aphids. It's not often you'll find a ladybug eating a moth. This ladybug was in our garage munching away on what looks like a dead moth. Yum! In addition to stills, I took a short video of the activity. Photo taken with old glass (Canon FD mount f/1.4 lens and a 7 mm extension tube) attached to Sony NEX-6.
