I had the pleasure of taking the portrait of this elderly couple in the small town of Kodiekrom, half an hour outside of Kumasi, Ghana. I was incredibly excited to take this portrait, as they are in fact the grandparents of Ophelia, a student I've been sponsoring over the last eight years. After I took the shot, I found out that this was the first photo that had ever been taken of them... what an honor!
