    the Memphis Trolleys have been a part of the city's distinct identity since 1993. Many of the cars came from all over the world (Porto, Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro) before making the Mid-South home. In the summer months of 2014 all trolley service was suspended after it was determined that much of the fleet and tracks required significant repair.
