The best time to be at Alcova for me is during the winter months. Sure, it's not a good time to go swimming, but you're also not having to deal with the hundreds of people that are on a mission to see who can get the drunkest, or who has the nicest boat. None of that matters to me. This image was made last Thursday. It was around 10-15 degrees and I was about the only person out there. It's like I had the whole lake to myself.
