This is a fish hot air balloon and behind it was a racing snail hot air balloon. I took this during the 2014 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta which is held each year during October. New Mexico has beautiful landscapes and this event takes place at the base of the Sandia mountain. There along side of Albuquerque is the Rio Grande river where sometimes the pilots will fly over and try to touch down on the surface of the river and climb back up. Pilots call that a splash and dash when they touch water.
