I went to Black's Nook in Fresh Pond Reservation to take some shots, and ran into a class of 3rd-grade students on a field trip. Their assignment was to find and log the different wildlife they identified. I saw two turtles perched on logs in the marsh (80 yards behind me), so zoomed in and took the shot. Each student in turn came to me in order that I show them where the turtles were. I would show the shot on the viewfinder, then point to the perch in the brush. Each got to check off "turtle".
