    The Tower of Londons dry moat being filled with 888,246 ceramic poppies,to create a powerful visual commemoration for the First World War.One for each British and Colonial fatality during the War. The sea of flowers is arranged to resemble a pool of blood which appears to be pouring out of a bastion window ( the"weeping window" ).
