During a visit to her home, a little Bhutanese friend seemed very interested in my sunglasses. Once she got a chance to try them on, she immediately ran to grab her sister's purse to model her new look. Standing next to the traditional wood stove, her new fashion made quite the contrast. This contrast between tradition and modernity is seen in so many ways throughout Bhutan.
