The sun peaking through the otherwise cloudy morning resembled their hope in getting into the ocean. Over a period of years this part of the indian ocean is heavily fished by the motorized boats and fishing trawlers, yet these fishermen from the coastal village prefer to use the traditional Kattumaram ( the smaller boats made out of wooden planks tied together). Their hope is that someday things would change for good and they can return back to those glorious fishing days of their past.
