Edit Photo Details Stallion leading harem   #nature #horses #badlands #wildhorses
Stallion waits patiently for his harem to follow his lead. Family structure is fragile as big oil intrudes upon habitat in the Bakken. These horses, descendants of stock originally brought to North America by the Spanish, are now mixed with other formerly domesticated stock. Their journey into the future is uncertain. So is mine. I am my own leader.
