How must it feel to be a lioness in the Mara? Apex predator, integral pride member, protective mother and a wonderful subject for photographers? All the above?! These lionesses were completely at ease with us taking so many photos of them, they even walked around our vehicle and made sure we had our cameras full of their images and hearts full of their memories.
