A wanderer
This Photo was taken on the way-up to a Monastery at Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal.Along the curved path there were murals painted on the mountain side. The murals are painted by the monks as a reminder for the people who are visiting the Monastery is a spiritual destination. Most of murals are the portrayal of their imaginary Gods that they believe in.I found the wanderer on my way, giving sometime to himself seeing the crowd passing by and at the path he left behind.
This photo is full of symbolism: the dreadlocked man stands motionless in the middle of the frame as the young woman quickly passes by; the spirit world watches all from above. Which path will you take?
