Cardinal at dawn.
Very early in the morning the sky was gray and everything was still, but among the bushes there was a cardinal whose feathers were puffed, yet he seemed happy it was morning, for I could hear him chirp a little. I came close to the bushes and he flew to the nearest three where he teased me for a while until I stood still and so did he, and as quick as could his picture I took. The lack of light made the picture turned gray, but black and white made it pretty.
