    It was 5:30 a.m. when I woke up to see the sun rising from the east from Kaushani, a hill station in the lap of Kumaon Himalayas in Uttarakhand of India. The problem was, when I looked at the east I observed that there was not a single snow covered peak. Then I changed my plan and though of shooting the snow covered peaks lit by rising sun. Because of the side light, the layers of the mountains were more prominent.
