    This picture was taken after Billy Simpson completed the SCAR route through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This route is 70+ miles, one way on the Appalachian Trail through the park. The total elevation gain is 18,660'. Billy is the only known individual to complete the Double SCAR.
