I arrived at the famed Snake River Overlook in Grand Teton National park about an hour and a half before dawn to shoot photos of the valley beneath a full moon. It was 29 degrees on Oct 11, 2014. It was perfect. As the Sun began to rise from behind, two locals joined me, and encouraged me to "stay and see the show". Fortunately I did. Soon, the clouds magically transformed from ghostly white to a warm pink as seen in this photo, then to yellow, before returning back to white for the day.
