    This photo was taken at the Denver Zoo on a beautiful spring day. The gorilla sat there alone at the window for a long time as the sunlight kissed his face. Other gorillas were in the outdoor enclosure yet he chose to sit at the window. I love how he appears to be deep in thought and cannot help but wonder what he is thinking. Is he just enjoying some alone time? Is he sad? Gorillas are such beautiful animals and just like humans in so many ways. They are social, emotional, and intelligent.

    I love how you captured such an intimate photo at the zoo. Well done! And your well-written caption encourages me to connect deeper with your photo, to think "Is he just enjoying some alone time? Is he sad?" Just like you, I want to know, what is this gorilla thinking about? I wonder, does he/she remember/miss life outside the zoo? Because when I look at your photo, that is how I interpret this frame...
