    Reported by:

This young lady came out to meet us on the trail while our spirits were low and bodies spent while trekking to Mt. Namuli in Mozambique. She lived in a village that is about a eight hour walk or two hour motorbike ride from the nearest medical facility that likely did a rudimentary job fixing her broken leg. It put a huge smile on my face when she walked with us for a few minutes despite her condition and poles she was using as makeshift crutches. Motivation!
