    The texture alone screams reptile to me, but the melting drop with snake-like tongue makes me glad I was on the other side of the glass watching this icicle melting in a rare late December thaw. Instances of seeing faces, patterns or shapes where you would not normally see faces (or snake tongues) is called pareidolia. My fear of snakes is so strong that even an ice snake causes shivers.
