This mother/daughter team run the tea house at Makalu Base Camp. The little one is just around a year old and lives at Base Camp (16,000ft) during the "spring" and "fall" climbing and trekking seasons. Her mother feeds and shelters trekkers and climbers while her father is off guiding clients to summits such as Makalu and beyond. It is an understatement to say this little one will be acclimatized, tough and resourceful.
