This picture was taken in autumn period at Simplonn Pass,the "Little Tibet" as I like to call it: a wide plateau at the border between Italy and Switzerland, which connects Ossola valley with Valais. In the background of the pictured the northern wall of Mt. Fletschhorn (3993m) just after sunrise when the fog that enveloped the pass began vanishing. I mounted a GND filter on my wideangle lens to compensate the highlight of the sky and a PL filter
