    Edit Photo Details Across the Arctic Ocean   #alaska #adventure
    The adventure was to paddle an Alaskan river up to the Arctic Ocean. After over a week we finally made it. This photo was taken around 11 pm in June from a small island on the Arctic Ocean looking north. The ice was like a mirage. The never setting sun shined on it. I could hear sea lions in the distance but I could not see them. The landscape was flat and sound traveled easily. Coming from Washington DC, I found this place to be meditative and exhilarating
