After dropping my husband off at the San Diego Airport, late for a flight, early one morning, I drove over to Harbor Island to watch the sunrise and make sure he got on the plane okay. The sky went from a deep crimson to this spectacular gradation in a matter of minutes. I was just lucky that I had my camera in my car that morning and needed to wait around or I'd never have been in that spot!
