Tiger In Water
Panthera tigris tigris.
During my photo trip to Ranthambhore in the summer of 2013, photographing the charismatic T24, one of the dominant males, was a great experience. It was lovely to observe this big cat for more than an hour and then my patience got rewarded when T24 walked for more than a mile and went into the water of a nearby waterhole to cool off. Tigers love to stay in the water, unlike the other big cats found in India viz. lion, leopard and snow leopard (or the erstwhile cheetah).
