During my trip in the summer of 2013, photographing the then youngest tiger cub of Ranthambhore, the sub-two month old baby of T41, was the highpoint of my trip. It was a rare privilege to observe this gorgeous mother with her tiny cub, relaxing in a secure and shaded waterhole. Considering the fact that the Bengal tiger is an endangered specie, every new arrival is cause for cautious optimism. In fact, one year down the line, I was happy to learn from friends that this cub has grown up.
