Every morning about a dozen people will summit Camelback mountain in the dark. Every morning those dozen people experience a magnificent sunrise. On this particular morning an uncommon overcast layer made the light appear to be flowing between the terrain and clouds into the Valley of the Sun. It was amazing to watch how the light seemed to ebb and flow as the sun climbed up from the behind the mountains, then disappeared into the clouds, taking the lake of light with it.
