Edit Photo Details Machu Picchu Hike
I went to study abroad this past June in Peru with my Spanish class, and the highlight of the trip was to go hike up to Machu Picchu. My friend in the picture, Zoyla, she was having pains in her knee, having to wear a knee brace the whole month while we were there. She was rightly determined to get there, so with the support of my class and I holding her up as she walked she was able to scale the ruins. "Sí se puede" was our motto, which means "Yes we can."
