Captured this tunnel at the right angle. Looks like a portal to another dimension. Rightfully so, since Iceland in the winter is unreal. It felt like we had the whole country to ourselves and with only four hours of daylight we were on a race against time to get from one destination to another. The weather didn't help at all, with snow covered roads and heavy winds truly making it a unforgettable experience. After this trip I had a new found respect for nature.

It must be difficult driving around Iceland on a winter day looking for something interesting to photograph. This is a great job of seeing, noticing something out of the ordinary and then getting into just the right spot to enhance the effect. This picture has me wondering intensely what's on the other side.
